Just a reminder that we’ve kicked out anti-bikelane politicians before by showing voters how removing bikelanes ruins their commutes. And we can do it again.
Christine Hogarth was the Ontario PC MP who championed removing the Bloor bike lanes. We took the lane on Bloor to show her constituents how forcing bicycles in to the car lane would ruin their commute. Even though Ontario PCs won, her constituents voted her out.
So: Take the lane. Educate Toronto drivers on why THEY should support bikelanes.
