On June 21, 2025 riders took the lane in place of the bike lanes Doug Ford banned — bikes didn’t disappear, the painted protection did. With the lanes gone a cyclist rides slowly in front of cars, since no car and bike share one lane safely, and Ontario’s 1-metre passing law proves it. #BikeLaneBlockedBy
